Murf AI is a voice product with three pricing tabs: API, Studio, and Dub. Checked on 2026-10-17, murf.ai/pricing rendered on the API tab and on the Studio tab. The product host is murf.ai. Studio shows a per-month figure and a billed-annually total on the same card. A distinct monthly-billing sticker, different from those figures, was not observed. Dub-tab prices were not observed. This note is for a narrator who needs a commercial-rights line, a yearly hour pool, and a per-character API rate. A figure the extract did not print is not observed.
Who it's for
Murf fits a freelancer or a team that needs a read, a download, and a license phrase. Free is a draft: 10 minutes of voice generation, no downloads, and no commercial rights. Creator is the first row with commercial rights, unlimited downloads, and 24 hours a year. Business raises the pool to 96 hours a year and prints a business license. Enterprise is custom. Custom voice clones are an add-on there.
The speech studio with a hosted MCP URL is ElevenLabs. Voice-first text-to-video whose dollar stickers were not observed is Fliki. A presenter that includes a voice because the product is a person is HeyGen. An editor that caps free speech at 1 minute is Kapwing. The timeline under a finished track is CapCut. A narrated video from a blog or a URL is Pictory.
Use voice and publish when you pay for the track. Use faceless when that track still needs pictures. Text to speech is the cross-product view. Murf was not in that first-tier matrix. This page is the pricing record. It does not rewrite the matrix.
What it does
Studio's rendered view labels the toggle "Billed Monthly" and "Billed Yearly," with "Saved 33%" on the yearly side. Each self-serve card then prints one monthly figure and one annual total together.
Free is $0 a month and $0 billed annually: 10 projects, 10 minutes of voice generation, and 1 editor. A block on that card says you can try the Business plan for free, with 10 minutes, everything in Business, no downloads, and no commercial rights. The card prints 10 minutes twice. This page does not add them into 20. It reads the second block as the restriction on that try.
Creator is $19 a month and $228 billed annually: 100 projects, 24 hours a year, 1 editor, 200+ voices, multi-native voices, unlimited downloads, a Canva integration, and commercial rights. Business is $66 a month and $792 billed annually: 500 projects, 96 hours a year, 1 editor, a business license, emphasis, variability, "Say It My Way," PowerPoint, audio to text, and Murf voices for Windows apps. The compare says "From $19/mo" and "From $66/mo," plus 30+ languages and accents. Enterprise is custom projects, unlimited voice generation, custom editors, SSO, no training on your data, and custom voice clones as an add-on. The add-on price was not observed.
"Commercial rights" and "business license" are the card phrases. The agreement was not opened, so the legal gap is not observed. One editor is the seat count on Free, Creator, and Business. A second editor's price on those rows was not observed.
The API tab is a different meter. The trial is $10 of calls, no card, 150+ voices in 35+ languages, and 5 concurrent requests. Pay as you go lists Falcon text to speech at $0.01 per 1,000 characters, with time-to-first-audio under 100 ms, Gen2 at $0.03 per 1,000 characters, Voice Changer at $0.10 per minute, and Translation at $0.02 per 1,000 characters. Purchased credit never expires. Pay-as-you-go concurrency is up to 5, matching the trial. Whether the $10 trial credit expires was not observed. The never-expires line sits on purchased credit.
The page lists named languages, including American, British, and Australian English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Studio says 30+. The API trial says 35+. This page does not collapse those into one count. A per-request character cap was a collapsed FAQ, so the number is not observed.
Dub prices were not observed. The footer also names voice cloning, transcription, and a Canva add-on. The directory page for that integration is Canva. The API page claims HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 Type II. Those are vendor claims. This directory did not audit the certificates. MCP was not observed. The footer advertises an affiliates program. This page does not link it.
Pricing tiers
Verified on 2026-10-17 at murf.ai/pricing. Studio figures are the card that shows both amounts together. API figures are the API tab.
| Studio plan | Card | Voice generation and projects |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0/mo and $0 billed annually | 10 projects, 10 minutes, 1 editor, no downloads, no commercial rights |
| Creator | $19/mo and $228 billed annually | 100 projects, 24 hrs/year, 1 editor, 200+ voices, unlimited downloads, commercial rights, Canva |
| Business | $66/mo and $792 billed annually | 500 projects, 96 hrs/year, 1 editor, business license, emphasis, variability, Say It My Way, PowerPoint |
| Enterprise | Custom | Unlimited generation, custom editors, SSO, no training on your data, voice-clone add-on |
Twelve times $19 is $228. Twelve times $66 is $792. On the view that rendered, the per-month figure and the annual total are the same offer. A higher monthly-only sticker was not observed. "Saved 33%" does not print the price 33 percent was taken from. This page does not invent it. The hour pools say per year. Dividing 24 or 96 by 12 is not a monthly cap the vendor printed.
| API line | Price in the extract |
|---|---|
| Free trial | $10 of API calls, no card, 5 concurrent requests |
| TTS Falcon | $0.01 / 1,000 characters, time-to-first-audio under 100 ms |
| TTS Gen2 | $0.03 / 1,000 characters |
| Voice Changer | $0.10 / minute |
| Translation | $0.02 / 1,000 characters |
| Dub tab | not observed |
Enterprise API lists data residency, on-premise deployment, enterprise-grade concurrency, professional voice cloning, an SLA, and a master service agreement. The concurrency number and the cloning price were not observed.
Pros
- Creator and Business each print a monthly figure, an annual total, a project cap, an hour pool, and one editor.
- Twelve times $19 equals $228, and twelve times $66 equals $792.
- Free states no downloads and no commercial rights in plain words.
- The API tab prints four unit prices, a $10 trial, and a concurrency cap of 5.
- Purchased API credit never expires, which is a different rule from a Studio pool written per year.
Cons
- A distinct monthly-billing sticker was not observed, and "Saved 33%" has no pre-discount dollar.
- A second editor's price on Free, Creator, and Business was not observed.
- Custom voice clones are an Enterprise add-on without a printed price. Creator does not list them.
- Dub-tab prices were not observed. The Studio hours are not labeled as dubbing hours.
- MCP was not observed. No docs URL was copied, so the unit prices have no
api_url. A per-request character cap was not observed.
Usage flow
- Read Free as $0, 10 projects, 10 minutes, 1 editor, no downloads, and no commercial rights. Do not ship a client video from that row.
- Creator is the commercial row: $19 a month on the card, $228 billed annually, 24 hours a year, 200+ voices. Business is $66 and $792, for 96 hours a year and the business-license line. Leave any unobserved monthly-only sticker to a toggle that actually prints one.
- For an app, use the API. The trial is $10 with no card. Falcon is $0.01 per 1,000 characters, Gen2 is $0.03, Voice Changer is $0.10 a minute, and Translation is $0.02 per 1,000 characters. Lay the track on CapCut. Make the cover in Canva.
Workflow usage
On voice and publish, Murf sits next to ElevenLabs. ElevenLabs already has a hosted MCP URL and a credit FAQ on its own page. Murf prints Falcon and Gen2 in dollars per 1,000 characters, and Studio hours per year. The meters do not add. Which click inside an open Studio project spends the 24-hour pool was not observed beyond the pool itself.
On faceless, Murf supplies the read and, on this extract, not the picture. Pictory and Fliki start closer to a finished video. Kapwing can speak inside an editor, with a 1-minute free cap. HeyGen is the mouth. Text to speech compares web, API, and MCP. Murf's MCP column from this check is not an official server.
A clip of a long recording is long-to-short and best AI clip makers. Murf does not propose those clips.
Underlying models
The API tab names Falcon and Gen2. Falcon is the $0.01 line, under 100 ms to first audio, described as conversational. Gen2 is the $0.03 line, described as studio-quality speech for multimedia. A FAQ titled "What is the Falcon model?" was collapsed, so this page adds no architecture and no character cap. Voice Changer and Translation are priced features, not extra model ids. The 200+ voices are a count. Voice ids were not observed. Clone training minutes and price, on Studio or on the API Enterprise line, were not observed.
No video model was named. Dubbing has a tab and no price here. Render a named picture somewhere that prints the model, then lay the Murf track under it.
API and MCP
has_api is true because the API tab prints unit prices and a $10 trial. A docs URL was not copied, so there is no api_url. Routes and auth were not observed. Studio plans were not described as including these rates. The tabs are separate.
mcp.official is false. No MCP server was observed on 2026-10-17, so there is no mcp.url. An API rate card is not a Model Context Protocol server.
The speech endpoint this directory can already address is ElevenLabs. Fliki lists API access on Premium and does not print a base URL. A Murf key does not authenticate those products.
Similar tools
- ElevenLabs publishes an API reference and an official hosted MCP server. Use it when the client needs a URL. Use Murf when the estimate is Falcon at $0.01 per 1,000 characters or a Studio pool with a billed-annually total.
- Fliki is voice-first text-to-video with credit pools and no dollar sticker on its check. Murf's Dub tab is the mirror problem: a product, and no price.
- Kapwing dubs inside an editor. HeyGen puts a voice on an avatar. Pictory builds the video from words.
- CapCut is the timeline after the file exists. Canva is the cover and the integration Creator names.
