Riverside records, edits from the transcript, and repurposes the session. The pricing page groups recording, editing, live streaming, webinars, hosting, and newsletters. Checked on 2026-10-17, riverside.com/pricing rendered in a browser. The product host is riverside.com. Cards show a struck price and a current price. The toggle says Monthly / Yearly and "Up to 20% off Yearly plans." Which side was active was not confirmed by switching it. The FAQ on the same page assigns the drop to annual billing. This note keeps both facts. Free-plan limits were not observed on the cards. A figure the extract did not print is not observed.
Who it's for
Riverside fits a podcaster who will record guests, edit by text, and publish from the same login. Pro is one studio, up to 4K, no watermark, and Magic Clips. Grow adds scheduling, a newsletter, a second show, live streaming, and Riverside MCP. Webinar adds registration, up to 100 people. Business is contact sales, and it lists API access.
A transcript editor priced per person is Descript. Clip proposers that start from a file you already have are OpusClip, Klap, and Vizard. Browser editors are Kapwing and VEED. The hand timeline is CapCut. A replacement voice is ElevenLabs. A cover is Canva.
Use long-to-short when Magic Clips should cut the session. Use captions and covers when on-screen type still fails. Use voice and publish only when the short needs a new narration. The default audio is the recording.
What it does
The nav names Magic Clips, an AI Twin, transcribing, captions, Magic Audio, AI show notes, an AI co-creator, AI translation, social scheduling, and video enhancement. MCP is in the nav.
Pro lists up to 4K, 48 kHz, no watermark, a host teleprompter, in-person multi-cam, unlimited text-based editing, an AI editing agent, AI B-roll, eye contact, silence and filler removal, unlimited transcriptions, Magic Clips and show notes, podcast hosting, and publish to YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. One studio. Fifteen hours of separate-track downloads. A 14-day trial button is on Pro, Grow, and Webinar.
Grow adds scheduling, a newsletter, a creator website, hosting for 2 shows, video on Apple Podcasts, AI thumbnails, Riverside MCP, 1080p live streaming, and multistream to YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok. Two studios. Twenty hours. Webinar adds up to 100 registrants, a session that can be pre-recorded and streamed as live, recurring webinars, lead capture, Q&A, polls, analytics, and HubSpot. Three studios. Twenty-five hours.
Business lists unlimited studios and separate-track downloads, webinars up to 10,000 registrants, unlimited video storage, async and simultaneous recording, producer mode, custom roles, collaborative editing, frame rates of 24, 25, and 29.97 FPS, Salesforce and Marketo, API access, SSO for Okta and Azure, SOC 2 and ISO 27001, and a dedicated CSM. Those compliance lines are vendor claims. This directory did not audit them.
Recording hours are unlimited on all four compare rows. Up to 10 people can join a session on each row. Desktop quality is up to 4K on each. Mobile is up to 1080p on Pro, Grow, and Webinar, and up to 4K on Business. The compare also says 44.1 and 48 kHz on every row, beside the Pro card's 48 kHz line. Self-serve frame rate is 24 FPS.
The FAQ defines a studio as one show's recordings, hosting, analytics, and website. Separate-track hours are the per-participant studio files. Past the cap you can still open the content, and you cannot download new separate tracks until the next cycle or an upgrade. The compare writes 15, 20, and 25 hours a month. An extra editor is an add-on on Pro, Grow, and Webinar. Its price was not observed. Collaborative editing is included on Business.
AI credits power AI translation, AI B-roll, and animated clips. Pro starts with 2,000. Business starts with 12,000. Grow and Webinar balances were not observed in that answer. More credits can be purchased. The price was not observed. Magic Clips, Magic Audio, and the AI co-creator do not require credits. Captions are named in the nav and appear in neither credit sentence, so whether they spend credits is not observed. AI Twin is a nav label. Its plan gate and credit burn were not observed.
"Start for Free" is a nav button. It is not an allowance. The 14-day trial buttons are on the three paid cards. This page does not merge the button and the trial into one product.
Pricing tiers
Verified on 2026-10-17 at riverside.com/pricing. The FAQ says annual billing saves up to 20 percent: Pro drops from $29 to $24 a month, Grow from $39 to $34, and Webinar from $99 to $79. This check did not flip the toggle. Yearly invoice totals were not observed.
| Plan | Card | What the card added |
|---|---|---|
| Pro | Struck $29, then $24/mo, 14-day trial | Up to 4K, no watermark, Magic Clips, publish list above, 1 studio, 15 hrs separate tracks, 2,000 AI credits |
| Grow | Struck $39, then $34/mo, 14-day trial | Scheduling, newsletter, 2 shows, Riverside MCP, 1080p live, 2 studios, 20 hrs |
| Webinar | Struck $99, then $79/mo, 14-day trial | Up to 100 registrants, HubSpot, 3 studios, 25 hrs |
| Business | Contact Sales | API access, SSO, SOC 2 and ISO 27001, unlimited studios and track downloads, up to 10,000 registrants, 12,000 AI credits |
Our multiplication, not a Riverside invoice: twelve times $24, $34, and $79 is $288, $408, and $948, and twelve times the struck prices is $348, $468, and $1,188. None of those products was printed as a yearly bill. Live streaming at 1080p is a Grow feature. It is not the 4K recording line. Magic Clips do not spend AI credits. Animated clips do. Tax was not observed.
Pros
- Pro, Grow, and Webinar each print a struck price, a current figure, a studio count, and a separate-track cap.
- The FAQ states the annual map in words: $29 to $24, $39 to $34, and $99 to $79.
- Recording is unlimited, and the FAQ separates that from the download cap.
- Grow names Riverside MCP on the card, next to scheduling and live streaming.
- Business names API access, and the FAQ puts Magic Clips outside the credit meter.
Cons
- The toggle was not switched. The FAQ assigns the lower number to annual billing, and this check did not watch the cards change.
- Free-plan limits were not observed. "Start for Free" is a button.
- Grow and Webinar credit balances, the top-up price, and the editor-seat price were not observed.
- The MCP URL was not observed. Business API access has no docs URL here.
- AI Twin and captions are not in the credit FAQ, so their burn is not observed.
Usage flow
- Record a session you have the right to publish. Read the cards as $29 struck then $24, $39 then $34, and $99 then $79, each with a 14-day trial. Read the FAQ as the annual assignment, and confirm the toggle at checkout.
- Pro is one studio and 15 separate-track hours. Grow is MCP, a second show, and 1080p live, at 20 hours. Webinar is registration up to 100, at 25 hours. Business is the API, SSO, registrants past 100, and unlimited studios.
- Finish a missed cut in CapCut or OpusClip. Burn type in VEED or Kapwing. Replace a voice in ElevenLabs. Make the cover in Canva.
Workflow usage
On long-to-short, Riverside records and can propose Magic Clips, which the FAQ says do not spend AI credits. OpusClip, Klap, and Vizard start from a file you already exported. Descript is the other transcript editor. CapCut is the bench when you mark the hook. The meter that runs out is separate-track hours, not recording hours. A show that only needs the mix may never touch the 15-hour line.
On captions and covers, captions are a nav item. Fonts, languages, and a safe zone were not observed. AI thumbnails are on Grow. A general cover tool remains Canva. Captions is the matrix. Whether Riverside captions spend the 2,000 credits was not observed.
Voice and publish is a generated read. Pro publishes the recording to YouTube, Spotify, Apple, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. TikTok is named on Grow's multistream line. A new narrator is ElevenLabs or Murf AI, on text to speech. Best AI clip makers compares file-upload proposers. Riverside is the session those tools can consume.
Underlying models
No video model and no speech model was named. Magic Clips, Magic Audio, the co-creator, B-roll, eye contact, and translation are feature names. The FAQ sorts translation, B-roll, and animated clips into the credit meter, and sorts Magic Clips, Magic Audio, and the co-creator out of it. That sort is not a model card. AI Twin has no model id, consent rule, or credit price in this extract. When the face or the voice has to be a named system, record here and buy that system on its own page.
API and MCP
has_api is true because Business lists API access. A docs URL, a base URL, auth, and a rate limit were not observed, so there is no api_url. Pro, Grow, and Webinar are not described as API tiers.
mcp.official is true because Grow lists Riverside MCP, the nav lists MCP, and the FAQ describes it. The FAQ says a connected assistant can search transcripts, edit, cut clips, and publish to social, and it names Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor as examples. The endpoint URL was not observed, so there is no mcp.url. The FAQ sentence in the extract is duplicated and cut off. This page uses the jobs it actually names. Which plan besides Grow may connect, and whether a connection spends AI credits, were not observed.
A speech MCP with a printed URL is ElevenLabs. Klap lists an MCP server in a footer and does not print the URL. OpusClip markets Video MCP without a server URL. A Riverside login does not authenticate those products.
Similar tools
- Descript edits from the text. Its display showed Hobbyist at $16, Creator at $24, and Business at $50 per person, each beside a struck price. Riverside's struck prices are $29, $39, and $99, and the FAQ calls the lower figures annual.
- OpusClip proposes clips from an upload, with Starter at $15. Klap prices clips. Vizard prices minutes and prints a free row.
- CapCut is the timeline. VEED and Kapwing are browser editors. Captions is the phone.
- ElevenLabs replaces the voice. Canva makes a cover when Grow's thumbnails are not the frame. HeyGen is a presenter who was never in the session.
FAQ
Is Pro $24 or $29?
The card shows $29 struck and $24 a month. Grow shows $39 and $34. Webinar shows $99 and $79. The FAQ says annual billing is the drop, up to 20 percent off. This check did not confirm the toggle by switching it. A yearly invoice was not observed. Our multiplication of twelve times $24 is $288, and that product was not printed.
What do AI credits buy, and what happens at the track cap?
Credits power AI translation, AI B-roll, and animated clips. Pro starts at 2,000. Business starts at 12,000. Grow and Webinar balances, and the top-up price, were not observed. Magic Clips, Magic Audio, and the AI co-creator do not require credits. Animated clips and Magic Clips are different lines. Recording stays unlimited. The download cap is 15, 20, or 25 hours a month of separate participant tracks, unlimited on Business. Up to 10 people can be in a session on every compared row.
Does Grow include MCP, and is there a free plan?
Grow lists Riverside MCP. The FAQ describes search, edits, cuts, and social publish. The URL was not observed, so mcp.official is true and mcp.url is empty. Business lists API access without a docs URL, so has_api is true and api_url is empty. "Start for Free" has no printed limits. The 14-day trial's feature list was not observed. An extra editor seat is an add-on on the three self-serve plans, and its price was not observed.
