Krea is a multi-model image and video studio with an agent, in-house models, and a node editor. Checked on 2026-10-17, krea.ai/pricing says "Trusted by 40M subscribers" and calls that group creatives, enterprises, agencies, and studios. That sentence is a vendor claim. This page does not treat it as an audited user count. The yearly toggle says save 40%. A limited offer gives unlimited Krea 3 for 14 days with a qualifying Pro or Max annual purchase. Compute-pack prices were not observed. This note is for YouTube, TikTok, and Shorts.

Who it's for

Krea fits a faceless creator who wants one unit balance across many video models, including the page's own list of Veo, Sora, and Kling, and who will also generate images. Pro is the first monthly card with a full video-model sentence. Business is the flat team price, up to 50 members. The matching path is faceless. A commercial clip can continue on UGC ads. The page says paid plans include a commercial license. The exact acts that license covers were not opened as a contract.

A single-family membership is Kling or Seedance. Google's own Veo studio is Google Flow. MiniMax's app is Hailuo. Other multi-model hosts are Higgsfield, Runway, Luma, and Pika. Their credits do not spend Krea units. A presenter is HeyGen. Captions and the export are CapCut. A named voice is ElevenLabs.

Krea is a weak fit if you need the price of a compute pack before you sign in. Those packs say sign-in required, and the dollar was not observed. It is also a weak fit if you need a Basic monthly sticker. The yearly page shows Basic at $5.25 a month. A monthly Basic price was not observed.

What it does

The pricing page describes Krea Agent, Krea 2, and Krea 3. Krea 2 is the in-house image model on the cards. Krea 3 is the model in the 14-day unlimited offer. Node apps are a visual workflow editor: connect models, prompts, and steps, then turn a workflow into a reusable app. Real-time generation, image and video LoRA finetuning, and upscaling are on the page. Pro's upscaling line says paid image upscalers, including Topaz Standard, support outputs up to 22K. Video LoRA training limits differ by card. Pro says LoRA training with 50 images. Max and Business say unlimited LoRA training with up to 2,000 images.

The yearly Basic card says selected video models, and it says the Pro plan unlocks all video models. Pro and Max say full access to all video models, including Veo 3, Sora, Kling, and more. The same cards say all image models and all 3D and lipsync models. A long model index on the monthly render names many more rows, including MiniMax H3, Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, and Veo 3.1. A unit price for each of those rows was not observed. The only generation equivalents printed as plan math are Nano Banana 2 images and Seedance 2.0 videos.

An early block on the yearly page, before the Basic heading, shows image concurrency 1 and video concurrency 0, and it also prints commercial-license and all-video-model sentences. Basic later says Pro unlocks all video models. This page does not treat that early block as Free's signed feature list. Free's readable grant is 100 units a day.

Pricing tiers

Verified on 2026-10-17 against krea.ai/pricing, monthly and yearly views.

Plan Monthly view Yearly view Units on the card Card's own equivalents
Free $0 $0 100 units/day A monthly unit total was not observed
Basic Sticker not observed $5.25/mo 5,000/mo on the yearly card 64 Nano Banana 2 generations, or 20 Seedance 2.0 videos

The yearly headline says save 40%. Pro's save line can be checked. Twelve times $35 is $420. Twelve times $21 is $252. The difference is $168, which matches "Save $168 compared to monthly." Max works the same way: twelve times $105 is $1,260, twelve times $63 is $756, and the difference is $504. Krea did not print $420, $252, $1,260, or $756 as an annual invoice. Those products are our arithmetic, not vendor stickers. Business is $200 monthly and $160 on the yearly view. Twelve times the $40 gap is $480. A "save $480" line was not observed, and $480 is our arithmetic, not a Krea sticker. Basic has no monthly sticker, so the 40% headline cannot be turned into a Basic monthly price. This page does not invent one.

Pro's 20,000 units are four times Basic's 5,000. The generation equivalents do not scale by exactly four. Sixty-four times four is 256, and Pro says about 257 Nano Banana 2 generations. Twenty times four is 80, and Pro says about 83 Seedance 2.0 videos. Quote the card's approximations. A single unit cost per Seedance video was not observed as a rate you can multiply with confidence across tiers.

Concurrency on the yearly cards, under the plan headings: Pro lists image concurrency 8 and video concurrency 4. Max lists unlimited image concurrency and video concurrency 8. Business lists up to 50 seats at one flat price, no extra cost per seat, business terms with a no-training clause, private node apps, and custom roles. An indemnification sentence on that part of the page says enterprise customers are protected against intellectual property claims on AI-generated content when usage follows the agreement. The sentence says enterprise customers. This page does not move that protection onto the $200 Business sticker.

Max's unit stepper prints 40k, 60k, 80k, and 100k. Business prints a longer stepper from 20k through 1.5M. Dollar prices for the steps above the base grant were not observed.

Compute packs sit under "Need more compute." Sizes on the yearly page are 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, 24,000, and 50,000 units, valid 90 days, applied instantly. Each size says sign-in required. Pack prices were not observed. The page says credits expire after 90 days. A volume discount is mentioned as a paid-plan benefit. The discounted pack prices were not observed.

The Krea 3 offer is 14 days of unlimited fast generations with a qualifying Pro or Max annual purchase. The yearly Basic card says Krea 3 is not included in that offer. A countdown was visible on the page, so the offer is time-limited. The remaining hours are not a plan term.

Pros

  • Monthly Pro, Max, and Business print dollar stickers and unit pools, and yearly Pro and Max print a save line that matches twelve times the gap between the two stickers.
  • Free states 100 units a day, so the $0 row has a number.
  • Pro's card names Veo, Sora, and Kling inside one video-model sentence, and it prints Seedance 2.0 and Nano Banana 2 equivalents next to 20,000 units.
  • Business states a flat price for up to 50 members, which is a seat rule a team can read.
  • Compute pack sizes and the 90-day expiry are printed even though the prices are behind sign-in.

Cons

  • Basic's monthly sticker was not observed. The yearly $5.25 price cannot be checked against a 40% monthly pair.
  • Compute-pack prices were not observed. A 2,000-unit pack and a 50,000-unit pack are not a budget until sign-in shows a dollar.
  • "40M subscribers" is a vendor claim on the pricing page. It is not a measured audience for video plans.
  • Per-model unit burns were not observed beyond two approximations. Veo, Sora, and Kling can cost different amounts of the same 20,000 units.
  • API unit prices and an MCP server URL were not observed. The header shows both words. A word in the nav is not an endpoint. Annual invoice totals were not observed.

Usage flow

  1. Read Free as $0 and 100 units a day. Read monthly Pro as $35 for 20,000 units, Max as $105 for 60,000, and Business as $200 for 80,000, with up to 50 members on that flat Business price. If you are looking at Basic, the price on the yearly view is $5.25 a month for 5,000 units, and the monthly Basic sticker was not observed.
  2. Use the card's equivalents only as the card's approximations: Pro is about 83 Seedance 2.0 videos or about 257 Nano Banana 2 generations. Confirm a real unit burn in the product before you treat 83 as a posting quota. Commercial use is the paid-plan sentence. The 14-day unlimited Krea 3 offer applies to a qualifying Pro or Max annual purchase, and the Basic card says it is not included.
  3. Buy a compute pack only after sign-in shows a price. Finish captions in CapCut. A person who is not a lipsync model on this page belongs on HeyGen.

Workflow usage

On faceless, Krea is the switchboard. Monthly Pro is $35 and yearly Pro is $21 a month, both for 20,000 units. The card's approximation is about 83 Seedance 2.0 videos. Several clips per short, plus retries, can spend that faster. A retry rule was not observed. The same model names off Krea have other meters: Seedance, Veo inside Google Flow, and Kling.

On UGC ads, paid cards say the commercial license covers marketing, products, and client work. A product-URL builder was not observed. Creatify still does that job. Lipsync is named as a model class, and a per-second price was not observed. sync. publishes one. Captions stay on CapCut. A presenter stays on HeyGen and AI avatar. Voice stays on ElevenLabs. A clipper was not observed, so long-to-short is a different product.

Underlying models

Krea 2 and Krea 3 are the in-house names on the pricing page. Krea 3 is the 14-day unlimited offer on qualifying Pro and Max annual purchases. Third-party names in the Pro sentence are Veo 3, Sora, and Kling. The model index also shows Seedance, Veo 3.1, and MiniMax H3 among other rows. This directory's pages for those families are Veo, Kling, Seedance, and MiniMax Hailuo. Sora has no model page here. Nano Banana 2 is the image equivalent on the unit cards and has no model page here.

A Krea unit is not a Runway credit, a Flow credit, or a MiniMax dollar. The approximations on the card are the only crosswalk this extract printed, and they are approximations.

API and MCP

has_api is true because the pricing page has an API item in the header and a "Looking for API?" link. API unit prices were not observed. The extract did not include a docs URL, so this entry sets no api_url. Whether an API call spends the same monthly units was not observed.

mcp.official is false. The header contains the word MCP. No server URL, install command, or protocol note was in the extract, so there is no mcp.url. A navigation label is not an address a client can add.

For a video API with a printed rate, use Runway, Kling, Luma, Higgsfield, or the MiniMax overview on Hailuo.

Similar tools

  • Higgsfield and Runway are the other switchboards with a stored API URL. Higgsfield also has an official MCP server. Krea's API link is real as a link, and its unit price was not observed.
  • Kling, Seedance, Google Flow, and Hailuo are the single-vendor doors for models Krea also names. Their plans do not refill a Krea unit balance.
  • Pika and Luma are generation-first neighbors. CapCut is the timeline. HeyGen is the presenter.

FAQ

What does Basic cost if I pay monthly?

Not observed. Yearly Basic is $5.25 a month for 5,000 units. The monthly stickers jump from Free to Pro at $35. The "save 40%" headline does not name a Basic monthly dollar.

How much is a compute pack?

Not observed. Sizes are 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, 24,000, and 50,000 units, valid 90 days, each marked sign-in required. A volume discount is mentioned, and those dollars were not observed.

Is "40 million subscribers" a measured video audience?

It is the pricing page's claim, aimed at creatives, enterprises, agencies, and studios. This check did not audit it. It is not a credit pool.

Does Save $168 mean Pro bills $252 a year?

Yearly Pro is printed as $21 a month. Twelve times $35 minus twelve times $21 equals the printed $168 save. Krea did not print a $252 invoice, and twelve times $35 ($420) is our arithmetic, not an annual sticker. Max's $504 save line works the same way: twelve times $105 is $1,260 and twelve times $63 is $756, neither of which Krea printed. Business printed no save dollar. The $480 gap on Business is the same kind of arithmetic.

Does Krea have an official MCP server?

The header shows the word MCP and an API link. No server URL was observed, so mcp.official is false. No API unit price or docs URL was observed, so there is no api_url. has_api stays true because the link exists.
