Pika is a multi-model create product for short social clips, sold in credits. Checked on 2026-10-17, pika.art/pricing shows Free with 0 plan credits, a commercial mark that starts at Creator, and one shared spec: 5 seconds at 720p costs 122 credits on Seedance 2.5 or 33 on Wan 3.0. This note is for YouTube, TikTok, and Shorts. Home is pika.art. Anything that page omitted is not observed.

Who it's for

Pika fits a faceless creator who budgets credits across more than one lab: a YouTube narrator adding b-roll, a TikTok editor generating a short visual, or a brand that needs a commercial mark before an ad. The workflow is faceless.

Free and Starter are non-commercial. Creator is the first yes. The license text was not opened, so the acts that word covers stay not observed. Captions and reframes are CapCut on captions-cover. Voice is ElevenLabs on voice-publish. Presenters and ad casts are HeyGen and Creatify. Series that post themselves are Revid, Faceless.so, or AutoShorts. A scheduler on Pika was not observed.

What it does

Pika spends credits in a create flow. The extract names two burns at 5 seconds and 720p: Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0. Seedance outside this host is Seedance, and the Dreamina app is Seedance. A longer menu was not observed. Kling, Veo, Ray, Hailuo, and a Pika-native model were not on the card.

Image-to-video, other durations and resolutions, aspect ratio including 9:16, audio, watermarks, and a timeline were not observed, so the tag is t2v only. Confirm the frame in the product. Packs sit off the grant: Free has 0 plan credits, web Create only, and pack price and size were not observed. API, MCP, and iOS are named only as pack exclusions.

Pricing tiers

Verified on 2026-10-17 against pika.art/pricing.

Plan Monthly Annual equivalent Credits Commercial mark
Free $0 not observed 0 plan credits; packs only No
Starter $10 $8 900 No
Creator $35 $28 3,150 Yes
Fancy $95–$880 $76–$704 8,550 or more First yes is Creator; a Fancy sentence was not observed

Annual figures are monthly equivalents. A yearly invoice total was not observed. Each annual number is four-fifths of its monthly pair: $8/$10, $28/$35, $76/$95, and $704/$880. A "20% off" headline was not observed.

$10 for 900 credits and $35 for 3,150 are one rate, 90 credits per dollar. If $95 pairs with the 8,550 floor, Fancy's bottom is 9.5 times Starter. Credits at $880, the steps inside the band, seats, and a team plan were not observed.

Example Credits Starter 900 Creator 3,150 Fancy floor 8,550
Seedance 2.5, 5s, 720p 122 7 clips, 46 left 25 clips, 100 left 70 clips, 10 left
Wan 3.0, same spec 33 27 clips, 9 left 95 clips, 15 left 259 clips, 3 left

Counts are grant divided by burn, not a videos-per-month line. 122 is a 5-second total, so a 10-second price is not observed. At $10 per 900 credits the Seedance example is about $1.36 and Wan about $0.37. At the $8 equivalent they are about $1.08 and about $0.29. Pika did not print those dollars. Seedance is about 3.7 times Wan on this spec. Rollover and top-up prices were not observed.

Pros

  • Free states 0 plan credits, so a $0 row is not a monthly generation allowance.
  • Commercial use is no on Free and Starter and yes on Creator.
  • Starter and Creator share 90 credits per monthly dollar, and one spec is priced at both 122 and 33.
  • Annual equivalents are printed, Fancy starts above 3,150 credits, and packs are limited to web Create.

Cons

  • A zero-dollar test needs a pack, and pack price and size were not observed.
  • Starter cannot carry a commercial upload on the mark recorded here.
  • Only 5 seconds at 720p were printed. 9:16 and every other size were not observed.
  • Fancy's credit count at $880, rollover, watermarks, queue, max length, an API URL, an MCP URL, and the license text were not observed.

Usage flow

  1. Pick the rung from the mark and the grant. Free has 0 plan credits. Starter's 900 are non-commercial. Creator's 3,150 are the first commercial grant. Open Fancy only when checkout shows the credits at that dollar.
  2. Spend the printed spec. Wan 3.0 is 33 credits for 5 seconds at 720p. Seedance 2.5 is 122. Leave 122 as a 5-second total.
  3. Finish outside Pika. Voice goes to ElevenLabs. Captions and the frame go to CapCut.

Workflow usage

On faceless, Pika is the visuals step after your script and an ElevenLabs read, and before assembly in CapCut.

One assumption, ours: twelve of those 5-second clips, one take, make a 60-second short. Seedance is 1,464 credits, past Starter and inside Creator twice (2,928). Wan is 396, so Starter covers two (792), not three, and Creator covers seven (2,772), not eight. A retake on every shot doubles the bill. Retry rules were not observed.

On ugc-ads, a product clip starts on Creator, or on a Fancy step confirmed as commercial. A cast was not observed. Use Creatify or HeyGen for a person. Clipping on long-to-short was not observed. captions-cover, voice-publish, and ai-avatar cover captions, voice, and avatars.

Underlying models

Seedance 2.5 at 122 credits is the expensive example. The family is Seedance, and Dreamina's ladder is Seedance. CapCut and InVideo price Seedance on their own cards. Wan 3.0 at 33 credits has no model page here. Kling, Luma Ray, Veo, Runway Gen, MiniMax Hailuo, and Higgsfield were not observed inside Pika.

API and MCP

A public HTTP API, with a base URL, docs, and an auth scheme, was not observed on 2026-10-17, so has_api is false. An official MCP URL was not observed, so official MCP is false. The top-up FAQ names API, MCP, and iOS only to exclude packs. That is not an endpoint, and no plan row included API access.

For a callable video API, use Runway, Higgsfield, Kling, or HeyGen. Revid and Faceless.so list API and MCP on their own cards. Hand generation on Pika stays on web Create.

Similar tools

  • Higgsfield and Runway document an API and an official MCP server. Pika is the web balance where 122 versus 33 is the choice.
  • Kling is a membership plus a prepaid API unit. A Kling burn on Pika was not observed. Seedance is Dreamina's own ladder, not this 122-credit line.
  • Luma is generation-first b-roll with an API on this batch's check. InVideo keeps Seedance on a timeline. Fliki, Pictory, and Lumen5 start from a script or a post.
