Higgsfield alternatives

Higgsfield is the multi-model studio with a stored MCP URL. Runway, Kling's own API, Dreamina, and CapCut replace it when you need a $0.01 credit, a $0.14 unit, an official Seedance plan, or a timeline.

Higgsfield is a studio in front of many models, plus a smaller set of models it documents as its own. People looking for a Higgsfield alternative are usually trying to leave one of those layers: the credit plan, the hosted Kling or Seedance route, the character and ads tools, or the official MCP. This page separates them using the Higgsfield tool and the Higgsfield model, both checked on 2026-10-16. Alternatives are Runway, Kling, Dreamina via Seedance, CapCut, and Creatify. This compare was assembled on 2026-10-17. It did not re-open higgsfield.ai/pricing, and it does not paste that page next to runway.com.

The model page is explicit. Cinema Studio 4.0 and Genjutsu are the first-party video workflows in the public API catalog saved that day. Soul is the still family. DoP was not in that catalog snapshot. Dollar rates for Cinema Studio and Genjutsu were not observed. Hosted Seedance and Kling keep their own selection pages at Seedance and Kling. Running them inside Higgsfield bills Higgsfield credits.

Who this is for

Read this if you use Higgsfield as the place you try more than one video model, and you want to know which single-vendor account replaces which part of that studio.

Higgsfield fits a Shorts editor who needs a cinematic b-roll shot, a product still, and a talking character in the same afternoon, on one credit balance. The pricing page checked on 2026-10-16 asks whether you are making social videos, talking-avatar videos, UGC and product ads, marketing photos, or cinematic clips. Plus and Ultra are the cards that said access to all models. Starter is the card for Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini, and for selected models only.

It is a poor fit when the deliverable is a captioned vertical edit of footage you already shot. That finish is CapCut. It is a poor fit when the deliverable is a licensed stock avatar reading a translated script for a training library. That product is HeyGen. It is a poor fit when you only need a voice. That product is ElevenLabs. It is a narrower fit than Creatify when the input is a product URL and the output is a UGC ad rather than a model test.

Leave Higgsfield's plan, not the whole category, when you only run Kling and you want Kuaishou's unit card. Leave it when you only run Seedance and you want Dreamina's official consumer ladder or CapCut's editor spend. Leave it when you want Runway's own Gen-4.5 and a developer credit priced at $0.01. Stay when the scarce thing is the menu.

Dimensions compared

  1. Switchboard versus one family. Higgsfield's pricing table, checked 2026-10-16, names Seedance, Kling, Wan, Veo, Sora, Soul, and DoP with credit rates, plus Minimax Hailuo and several image models. Runway's own description the same day says the workspace includes Runway's models and third-party models such as Kling, Veo, and Seedance. Kling's membership and API are Kling. Dreamina's pricing page leads with official Seedance access, not a menu of rival labs. CapCut names Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 Mini. Creatify is an ad studio with its own model names on an API rate card, not this switchboard. A Higgsfield alternative that only sells one family is a real alternative only if that family was the reason you paid.

  2. First-party models versus hosted routes. On the saved Higgsfield docs index, Cinema Studio 4.0 is POST https://api.higgsfield.ai/higgsfield/cinema-studio/4.0. Duration is 4 to 30 seconds. Resolution is 480p or 720p. 1080p was not in the allowed values. Aspect includes 9:16. Native audio is a boolean. Up to 30 image URLs can switch the same endpoint to reference-to-video. Multi-shot is false. The pacing enum includes single-shot as a style, not a list of shot prompts. The usage note sends editing and extension to separate Seedance 2.5 endpoints. This page does not claim Cinema Studio's weights are Seedance. Genjutsu is video-to-video: motion transfer, object swap, and restyle. Soul is text-to-image. DoP does not occur in the saved llms-full.txt. An older indexed DoP path was not confirmed by a 200 response. Runway Gen is Runway's own model, at 12 credits per second on the API guide. Kling 3 and Seedance 2.5 remain other companies' models wherever they are hosted.

  3. Plan dollars, dated 2026-10-16. Higgsfield's page was on annual billing. Free was "limited use," and a stable free-credit number was not observed. Starter is $19 a month billed annually for 270 credits, equated on the card with about 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos and 135 Nano Banana Pro generations. Plus is $47 a month billed annually, shown beside $59, for 1,200 credits. The card said save $144 compared to monthly. Ultra is $99 a month billed annually, shown beside $129. A credit control showed 3,000, 6,000, and 9,000. Confirm which step checkout selects. The card said save $360 compared to monthly. Teams starts from $65 per seat, 2 to 15 seats, from 1,000 credits per seat. Credit packs on a same-day check ran from $5 for 80 credits through $80 for 1,700 credits, valid 90 days, and a subscription is required. Prices exclude VAT. Runway the same day: Free is 125 one-time credits. Standard is $15 a month or $12 billed annually for 625 credits a month. Pro is $35 or $28 for 2,250. Max is $95 or $76 for 9,500. Kling membership renewals and Dreamina renewals are on their own pages and are not Higgsfield discounts.

  4. What a credit buys. Higgsfield prints tildes. Examples on the pricing comparison: Seedance 2.0 at about 22 credits per 5 seconds at 720p, about 60 at 1080p, and about 110 at 4K. Seedance 2.0 Fast at 720p is about 12 credits per 5 seconds. Kling 3.0 at 720p is about 7 credits per 5 seconds. Soul 2.0 is 0.12 credits per image. DoP Lite, Standard, and Turbo are rated per 3 seconds. These are credits, not dollars. The dollar cost depends on the plan. Cinema Studio and Genjutsu had no dollar or credit figure in the schema extract. The billing chapter says charges hit successful requests, failed and nsfw results are not charged, and credits expire one year after they are added. An estimate endpoint can return credits and USD for the call you submit. A printed Soul-shaped sample of 1.500 credits and $0.094 is an illustration of the response format, not a Cinema Studio price. Runway's consumer FAQ states Gen-4.5 at 12 credits per second, and 625 Standard credits equal 52 seconds of Gen-4.5. The API price is $0.01 per credit, so Gen-4.5 is $0.12 a second before tax. Kling's own video unit is $0.14 at list. Those three sentences are three invoices.

  5. Unlimited windows. Plus and Ultra showed 7-day unlimited on Wan 3.0 and 3.0 Prime, Nano Banana 2 at 2K, and Kling 3.0, with Ultra adding Nano Banana Pro at 2K. A business block advertised 30-day unlimited Seedance 2.5 on business plans only. Unlimited models and free generations are available only on higgsfield.ai. They are not available on MCP, CLI, Canvas, or Supercomputer. Unlimited use may slow down when traffic is high. Runway's Max card printed "Unlimited" beside Seedance 2.5, and it qualified Wan 3.0 as "Unlimited in Tool Mode until October 18." That date was on the card checked 2026-10-16. This compare does not extend it. Kling and Dreamina did not print an unlimited Seedance or Kling toggle of the Higgsfield kind on the pages used here.

  6. API and MCP. Higgsfield's API docs URL is stored, with requests to https://api.higgsfield.ai and Authorization: Key YOUR_KEY_ID:YOUR_KEY_SECRET. Generation is asynchronous. A status note said platform.higgsfield.ai should be replaced by api.higgsfield.ai by 2026-10-31. The official MCP URL is https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp. MCP uses the signed-in account. It does not use an API key. API dollar pricing separate from the subscription was not observed. Whether API usage and website credits are one wallet was not observed. Runway documents two MCP servers. Generation MCP is https://mcp.runwayml.com, listed on Pro and Max, not on the Standard feature list that was read. Dev MCP is https://dev.runwayml.com/mcp. Consumer credits and developer-portal credits were not observed as one balance. Developer credits are $0.01. Kling has an API and no observed official MCP URL. Call Kling through Runway or Higgsfield only if you accept that host's rate. Dreamina and CapCut had no observed public API and no observed official MCP URL.

  7. Editor, ads, and the job after generation. Higgsfield describes Ads Studio, an AI influencer flow, lip-sync, and a UGC builder in plan and help material. This directory did not re-test image quality. Creatify is the tighter URL-to-ad product, with its own credit plans and an API table. CapCut is the timeline, the captions, and the export. Higgsfield's tool page tells you to download the files and finish there. Runway is a creative suite that can edit, and it is still a poor substitute for a dedicated caption editor on its own cons list. A Higgsfield alternative that cannot burn the caption has not finished the Short.

Side-by-side notes

Higgsfield's individual plans are one creator. Starter at $19 billed annually is the light poster: 270 credits, parallel generations up to 2 videos and 4 images, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini, selected models only. Plus at $47 billed annually is 1,200 credits, all Seedance models, all models and features, and 7-day unlimited on a selected set that does not include Nano Banana Pro. Ultra at $99 billed annually is the sticker next to a credit control, not a promise that 9,000 credits are included. Teams from $65 per seat pools credits across 2 to 15 seats, up to 37,500 credits a month in the range that was printed. Scale and Enterprise dollars beyond that Teams line were not observed. The Free column existed. Budget as if the free grant might be zero until a signed-in account shows a number.

The catalog is the product's real surface area, and it moves. The tool page says to trust the live card if a model named in the 2026-10-16 table disappears. The model page says the docs index documented 84 entries and that availability can change. Cinema Studio's quick start is a cinematic wide shot of ocean waves, with a camera-move enum if you need dolly-in or handheld. Sending the string auto for those creative enums is invalid. Genjutsu motion transfer wants a source video of at least 4 seconds and trims anything longer than 30. Provide 1 to 8 image references. Genjutsu's price was not observed. A non-Higgsfield host for Cinema Studio or Genjutsu was not found on fal, Runway, or Luma in the files read for that pass. If you need those two workflows, Higgsfield is the vendor that documented them. An alternative studio does not include them by hosting Seedance.

Runway is the closest suite. You get a browser product, a developer portal, and a credit that converts at $0.01 on the API guide checked 2026-10-16. Gen-4.5, Gen-4 Turbo, Aleph 2.0, and Act Two are Runway's names. Kling, Wan, Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, Veo 3.1, and Hailuo are on the same guide as host SKUs. Consumer Gen-4.5 arithmetic is printed: 2,250 Pro credits equal 187 seconds, and 9,500 Max credits equal 791 seconds. Standard and Pro monthly credits do not roll over. Max rolls up to one month of unused credits. Additional purchased credits never expire, and the FAQ says the minimum purchase is 1,000 credits. Free credits do not expire and do not refill. Pro and Max are the plans that list Runway MCP. If your Higgsfield habit is an agent through MCP, Runway's Standard plan is the wrong assumption. The feature list read that day did not include the connector.

Kling direct is the alternative when the menu is a distraction. The developer list price is $0.14 a unit, with per-second cells for 3.0, Turbo, and Omni, and with packages that do not include 4.0. Membership renewals run from $8.80 to $159.99 on the cards checked 2026-10-16. Commercial use is stated on paid membership cards and withheld on Basic. You lose Higgsfield's Wan, Veo, Sora, and Soul rows. You gain a unit that does not depend on a tilde or on which Ultra credit step checkout selected. You do not gain an official MCP URL. The tool page says that was not observed.

Dreamina is the alternative when the only model is Seedance and you want ByteDance's consumer card. First month then renewal, checked 2026-10-16: Basic USD 1.50 then USD 15, Standard USD 22 then USD 36, Advanced USD 95 then USD 159, Ultra USD 312 then USD 520. The offer end date printed on the page was 23 October 2026. This compare does not re-verify that banner. There is no public API on that entry. CapCut is the alternative when Seedance should be an effect on a timeline you already use, at a region-rendered Pro sticker and a stable 1,200-credit grant, with first-month Seedance 2.5 from $0.12 a second on Pro. That rate is not Dreamina's from-$0.04 banner, and neither rate is a Higgsfield credit.

Creatify is the alternative when the job was never the model menu. The web plans checked 2026-10-16 start at Standard $15 or $12 on the annual display for 55 credits, and the API is a separate subscription at $99 for 500 credits or $299 for 2,000. URL to video on that API table is 5 credits per 30 seconds. Higgsfield can still be the bench when the winning ad depends on a specific generator. It is the worse default when the input is a product URL and the output is a testable ad with an actor library.

HeyGen stays the presenter alternative, not a model-menu alternative. Its Creator card, MCP URL, and translation count are a different purchase. ElevenLabs stays the voice. Putting either name in a Higgsfield credit estimate was not a row this compare is willing to invent.

Verdict

Higgsfield is the right bill when you are paying for the menu and for an MCP URL that was actually printed. It is the wrong bill when one family, one official unit, or one timeline accounts for the work. The 2026-10-16 plan card makes the menu concrete. Annual Starter at $19 buys 270 credits and a selected set that names Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini. Annual Plus at $47 buys 1,200 credits and the "all models" sentence, including all Seedance models. Annual Ultra at $99 is a sticker beside a credit control of 3,000, 6,000, or 9,000, so the directory will not pretend 9,000 is included. Teams from $65 a seat is the shared pool. Free is not a production plan, because the free-credit integer was not stable on the extract. Credit packs from $5 to $80 show that overage is a paid add-on, and they require a subscription.

The alternative is determined by the row you actually render. If that row is Kling 3.0 and you are tired of a tilde, Kling's API is the cleaner price: $0.14 a unit at list, with audio and resolution on the cell, and with a 180-day pack that does not roll over. You give up the rest of the Higgsfield table, and you give up MCP unless you call Kling through a host that has one. If that row is Seedance and you want ByteDance's own app, Dreamina's renewal column is the price to keep after the first month, and CapCut is the price when the clip has to land in an editor the same afternoon. If that row is "whatever the router picks, billed at a cent," Runway's developer guide is the alternative, and Gen-4.5 at 12 credits a second is Runway's model rather than a renamed Seedance. If that row is Cinema Studio 4.0 or Genjutsu, an alternative host was not observed. Those workflows are the part of Higgsfield a Runway or Kling account does not replace. Their prices were not observed in the schema. Call the estimate endpoint on your account before you treat a Soul sample of $0.094 as their rate.

Agent workflows are where Higgsfield's marketing word "unlimited" comes apart, and where a move to Runway can surprise you in the other direction. Higgsfield's 7-day unlimited windows, and the 30-day Seedance 2.5 window on business plans, are website perks. MCP and CLI deduct credits. A Claude session pointed at https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp spends the plan. Runway's generation MCP is listed on Pro and Max, at $28 or $35 and $76 or $95 depending on annual or monthly billing, and the developer portal is a second wallet at $0.01 a credit. A sentence that says consumer plan credits spend on the Runway API was not observed. Leaving Higgsfield for Runway to "get MCP on the cheap Standard plan" misreads both cards. Standard is $12 or $15 and 625 credits, and the MCP line was not on the feature list that was read.

Ads and captions are the other exits. Creatify replaces Higgsfield when the unit of work is an ad from a URL and you want a published burn, such as 5 API credits per 30 seconds of URL to video, on a meter that is not a Higgsfield credit. CapCut replaces the last mile on every one of these stacks. Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, and Dreamina all tell the same finishing story in their own words: the generation is not the posted video. A team that cancels Higgsfield, generates in Kling, and still pays for CapCut has not failed. They have split a switchboard into the two jobs it was covering. A team that cancels Higgsfield, buys Runway Max for an unlimited Seedance line, and never reads the October 18 qualifier on Wan, has traded one careful card for another.

Do not pick an alternative by averaging credit prices. Higgsfield's Kling 3.0 example of about 7 credits per 5 seconds becomes a dollar only after you know whether the credit came from a $19 Starter month of 270, a $47 Plus month of 1,200, a pack at $5 for 80, or a Teams seat. Runway's $0.01 is a developer-portal dollar, not a consumer-plan dollar, even though the consumer FAQ also prices Gen-4.5 at 12 credits a second. Kling's $0.14 is a unit, not a Higgsfield credit. Dreamina's from-$0.04 line is a floor on a banner, not a 1080p quote. The honest comparison is one prompt, one duration, one resolution, one host, and the estimate that host shows before you confirm. Everything else on this page is a reason to open that host's own entry, dated 2026-10-16, rather than a winner's badge.

When to pick each

Pick Higgsfield when you will swap Seedance, Kling, and the other names on one plan, when Plus or Ultra's all-model line matches the test, and when you can live with tilde rates. Use Starter only for the selected set. Connect MCP only if you expect credits to move. Use Cinema Studio or Genjutsu when those first-party workflows are the point, and price them with the account estimate. The catalog price was not observed.

Pick Runway when you want Gen-4.5, a $0.01 API credit, and third-party rows on the same guide. Buy Pro or Max if the generation MCP is required. Treat consumer credits and developer credits as separate until a help article says otherwise. Read the model id in the response.

Pick Kling when every shot is Kling and you want the unit table. Keep membership credits and API units apart. Do not assume 4.0 is on the API.

Pick Seedance when you want Dreamina's official card and you will ignore the first-month teaser in the month-two forecast. Pick CapCut when the timeline is the product and Seedance is the effect.

Pick Creatify when the input is a product URL. Pick HeyGen when the asset is a translated presenter. Finish captions in CapCut on all of these paths.

Related workflows

Faceless is where Higgsfield acts as the model switchboard. A channel can try Seedance 2.0 Fast on Starter, then Kling 3.0 or Seedance 2.5 on Plus. Voice still comes from ElevenLabs. The script is not included. Runway is the other generation step on that workflow. Kling and Dreamina are the single-family versions of the same step.

UGC ads uses Creatify as the default actor ad. Higgsfield is the broader bench when the winning creative depends on a named generator. Kling's e-commerce API rows are a lower-level option on Kling's own unit, not on a Higgsfield credit. CapCut is the caption and safe-zone pass after the file exists.

AI avatar does not start at Higgsfield. HeyGen is the default presenter. Higgsfield's lip-sync and talking-avatar surfaces are a test, not the translation table. Captions and covers and long-to-short are editor workflows. Higgsfield does not replace them. Voice and publish replaces the studio entirely when the picture is optional.

FAQ

Does the unlimited Kling or Seedance toggle work through MCP?

No. The pricing page and the help center, checked 2026-10-16, say unlimited models and free generations work on higgsfield.ai only. MCP, CLI, Canvas, and Supercomputer deduct credits. A 7-day window is a website perk. The 30-day Seedance 2.5 line was marked business-plan only. Runway's own "unlimited" lines are a different card, with a date qualifier on Wan that this compare will not extend past the sentence printed on 2026-10-16.

How many free Higgsfield credits can I plan on?

Not observed as one stable number. The Free column was labeled limited use, and one older extract of the page disagreed with itself. Runway's free grant is a different product: 125 one-time credits that the FAQ says do not expire. Kling Basic is $0, and a monthly credit grant was not in the credit row that starts at 660. Dreamina says a free option exists, and the free-credit count was not observed. None of those zeros is a Higgsfield grant.

Is Cinema Studio just Seedance under another name?

Not observed as a weights claim. The saved Cinema Studio chapter says the endpoint produces a new video, and that editing and extension use separate Seedance 2.5 endpoints. An indexed help line that said Cinema Studio runs on Seedance was not in that saved chapter. Price Cinema Studio with the Higgsfield estimate for that request. Price Seedance 2.5 on the Seedance page's fal, Runway, or BytePlus figures. Do not copy one onto the other.

Which plan is the real "all models" alternative to Ultra?

On Higgsfield itself, Plus is the first individual card that said access to all models and to all Seedance models, at $47 a month billed annually for 1,200 credits, beside a struck $59. Ultra adds Nano Banana Pro to the 7-day unlimited set and sits next to a credit stepper you must confirm. Runway's paid cards say access to all AI video and image models. Free says a selection. That Runway sentence is Runway's model list, which includes Gen-4.5 and the third-party rows on its guide. It does not include Cinema Studio or Genjutsu. Those two were not found on Runway in the model-page pass.

Can I keep Higgsfield's MCP and pay Kling's $0.14 unit?

No. The MCP connector billed on 2026-10-16 uses the Higgsfield account and plan credits. Kling's $0.14 unit is Kling's developer list price. Runway's $0.01 credit is Runway's developer portal. An agent config stores one host. The invoice follows that host. If you need Kling's unit, call Kling's API and accept that an official Kling MCP URL was not observed.
