PixVerse is a video generation product with its own models, templates, a CLI, and a public API rate card. Checked on 2026-10-17, the English product page is pixverse.ai/en. The API price doc is docs.platform.pixverse.ai/pixverse-api-pricing-2394995m0. App subscription prices were not observed. The subscribe URL app.pixverse.ai/subscribe redirected to pai.video, the China-region app 拍我AI, from the check machine that day. This page does not quote an app plan from that redirect. The only dollars below are API dollars. A template trend that names PixVerse without a direct template link is Hotel Lobby AI.
Who it's for
PixVerse fits a faceless creator or a small shop that will call an API, or that will use templates, lip sync, and a marketing hub, and that can budget credits at 225 per dollar. Text and image to video, templates, a CLI, an agent, lip sync, mini-apps, a marketing hub, character, and canvas are the product list on the English page. The matching paths are faceless, UGC ads, and AI avatar.
A hand timeline and burned-in captions are CapCut. A presenter plan with a checked subscription is HeyGen. Character lip sync with a thin public price is Hedra. A per-second lipsync API with a watermark rule is sync.. A named voice outside this credit is ElevenLabs. Kling's membership is Kling. A multi-model credit that is not this API is Pika or Higgsfield.
PixVerse is a weak fit if you need an app price before you install anything. That price was not observed on this pass. It is a strong fit if the bill you will actually pay is the API ledger, because that ledger is the doc's own final source of truth.
What it does
The English page says prompt or image in, video out. Models named there are PixVerse V6, PixVerse C1, and PixVerse R2. R2 is described as real-time worlds, with WASD, camera controls, and live prompts. V6 and C1 are the models on the per-second API table. The CLI example on the product page is pixverse generate --prompt "A car driving on a highway." --ratio 9:16 --duration 5. That is a vertical, five-second shape. It is not a price.
Canvas is a node graph for references, prompts, motion, and output. Character is the consistency line. Marketing Hub is described as AI shorts for ads. Lip sync is "voice, sync, and sound." Template is "ready-made creative starts." None of those blocks printed a subscription dollar.
This check did not open the app. Watermark rules, a free monthly grant, export containers, and a team seat were not observed for the app. The API doc does say plans, volume agreements, promotions, and free allowances may change the effective cost. It does not print those plan prices.
Pricing tiers
App tiers: not observed on 2026-10-17. Do not invent a monthly PixVerse subscription from another region's app.
API billing, verified the same day on the pricing doc: the unit is credits. 225 credits equal $1, and the doc also prints 1 credit as about $0.004444. USD amounts use total credits divided by 225, rounded to three decimal places. Calculate the credit total before rounding. Resp.credits is a request-level estimate. The account ledger is the final charge. Failed tasks may refund, and the doc says the refund can be delayed. HTTP 200 with a zero error code means the request was accepted, not that generation finished.
Per generated second, credits then the doc's USD:
| Model | Audio | 360p | 540p | 720p | 1080p |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| C1 | Off | 6 cr/s, $0.027 | 8, $0.036 | 10, $0.044 | 19, $0.084 |
| C1 | On | 8 cr/s, $0.036 | 10, $0.044 | 13, $0.058 | 24, $0.107 |
| V6 | Off | 5 cr/s, $0.022 | 7, $0.031 | 9, $0.040 | 18, $0.080 |
| V6 | On | 7 cr/s, $0.031 | 9, $0.040 | 12, $0.053 | 23, $0.102 |
| V6 video reference | Off | 10 cr/s, $0.044 | 14, $0.062 | 18, $0.080 | 36, $0.160 |
| V6 video reference | On | 14 cr/s, $0.062 | 18, $0.080 | 24, $0.107 | 46, $0.204 |
V6 Extend uses the matching V6 resolution, audio, and duration rate. V6 Fusion with video references uses twice the standard V6 rate. The doc's worked rows use that rule: V6, 720p, audio on, 8 seconds is 12 times 8 = 96 credits, about $0.427. C1, 1080p, audio off, 5 seconds is 19 times 5 = 95 credits, about $0.422. V6 Fusion with video references, 720p, audio off, 5 seconds is 18 times 5 = 90 credits, about $0.400. Ninety-six divided by 225 is 0.4266..., which rounds to the printed $0.427.
V5.6, V5.5, and V5 are fixed credits per request, not per second. Two V5.6 cells the check called out: 5 seconds, audio off, 720p is 45 credits, $0.200. Eight seconds, audio on, 720p is 135 credits, $0.600. The same V5.6 grid marks 10 seconds at 1080p as not supported, both with audio off and with audio on. V5.5 splits single-shot and multi-shot. This page does not copy every legacy cell. A listed legacy price does not override endpoint constraints.
Lip sync and avatar, same doc:
| Capability | How it bills | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Lip sync, uploaded audio | Per audio second, rounded up | 4 cr/s, $0.018/s |
| Lip sync, TTS | Per 15 UTF-8 bytes, rounded up | 4 credits per unit, $0.018/unit |
| Avatar | One unit is one second of uploaded audio, rounded up, or 15 UTF-8 bytes of TTS, rounded up | 360p 5 cr, 540p 10, 720p 15, 1080p 20, per unit |
The doc's avatar example is 720p and 20 seconds of uploaded audio: 20 times 15 = 300 credits, about $1.333. Swap, motion control (mimic), and modify bill by source duration. At 720p they are 12 credits a second, $0.053. The 360p and 540p cells differ: swap is 9 and 9, mimic is 9 and 10, modify is 8 and 10. Their 1080p cells say not listed. Viral Recreation Agent is not supported at 360p or 540p, 80 credits a second at 720p ($0.356), and 157 credits a second at 1080p ($0.698). A 5-second 720p viral clip in the worked examples is 400 credits, about $1.778.
Other rows on the same doc, so they are not invisible: sound effects 2 credits a second, restyle 10, upscale 5, mask generation 2 credits a request. A multi-transition table bills fixed duration tiers, and fast mode doubles the credits. Templates use the template's own credit_consume from the effects list. The doc says not to reuse a historical fixed template price. Approximate dollars are that value divided by 225.
Pros
- The API doc prints a public conversion, 225 credits to $1, and prints credits and dollars on the same cells.
- V6 and C1 have a full 360p through 1080p grid with audio off and on, so a 9:16 test can be priced at the resolution you actually render.
- Worked examples show the multiply-then-divide method, including 96 credits and about $0.427 for an 8-second V6 720p clip with audio.
- Lip sync, TTS, and avatar name the billing unit. Avatar is per second of audio or per 15 bytes of text, not an unnamed "generation."
- The doc says the ledger wins over
Resp.credits, which is the right warning when a request estimate and a final charge can differ.
Cons
- App subscription prices were not observed. The subscribe URL redirected to pai.video. A monthly app plan cannot be compared with Kling or Hailuo from this page.
- Legacy grids are fixed per request, while V6 and C1 are per second. Mixing those units understates or overstates a clip.
- Swap, mimic, and modify do not list a 1080p rate. Viral Recreation Agent does not support 360p or 540p. A missing cell is not a free cell.
- Template prices are per template, through
credit_consume. A Hotel Lobby post is not a price, and no direct template link was found. - Official MCP was not observed. Volume agreements can change the effective cost, and those agreement prices were not observed.
Usage flow
- Ignore unpublished app stickers. If you need a dollar before you generate, use the API doc. Read 225 credits as $1, then pick V6 or C1, a resolution, and audio on or off.
- Multiply credits per second by billable seconds, then divide by 225. Check the result against a worked row when one exists. For lip sync, use 4 credits a second of uploaded audio, or 4 credits per 15 UTF-8 bytes of TTS. For avatar, use the per-unit row and the doc's definition of a unit.
- Treat
Resp.creditsas an estimate and the ledger as the charge. Finish captions and the safe area in CapCut. A direct Hotel Lobby template link was not observed. The trend note is Hotel Lobby AI.
Workflow usage
On faceless, PixVerse is the API visuals step. The doc's worked V6 row is 720p, audio on, 8 seconds, 96 credits, about $0.427. The method is multiply credits per second by seconds, divide by 225, then read the ledger. The CLI example is 9:16 and 5 seconds. The doc did not print a 5-second V6 720p total. It did print C1, 1080p, audio off, 5 seconds, at 95 credits. Refunds for failed tasks can arrive later.
On UGC ads, Marketing Hub is the name for AI shorts for ads. An app-plan price and a commercial-license sentence were not observed. The API grid is the budget that was printed. A cast is still HeyGen or Creatify. V6 Fusion with video references uses twice the standard V6 rate.
On AI avatar, the doc's 20-second 720p avatar example is 300 credits, about $1.333. Uploaded-audio lip sync is a different row, 4 credits a second. Hedra and sync. are the other lipsync doors. Captions stay on CapCut and captions and covers. A clipper was not observed, so long-to-short is a different tool. An R2 credit rate was not observed.
Underlying models
PixVerse V6, C1, and R2 are the names on the product page. V6 and C1 are the per-second API models. V5.6, V5.5, and V5 remain on the price doc as fixed per-request grids. This directory has no PixVerse model page. Kling, Seedance, Veo, MiniMax Hailuo, and Luma Ray were not observed as the engines behind these credit cells.
Hotel Lobby AI records PixVerse template posts on 2026-10-14 and 2026-10-15. A stable direct URL for a PixVerse template was not found, so this page does not link one. Template billing, when you do have a template id, is that template's credit_consume.
API and MCP
has_api is true. api_url is the pricing doc above. The product page also shows a CLI and an API navigation item. Auth headers, a base host string, and a rate limit were not observed on the pricing extract, so this entry does not invent them. The billing rules that were printed are enough to estimate a clip and not enough to configure a client.
mcp.official is false. No official MCP server URL was observed, so there is no mcp.url. The agent on the product page is an in-product conversation. It is not a server address.
For a different video API with its own stored URL, see Runway, Kling, and Hailuo. A PixVerse key does not authenticate those products.
Similar tools
- Hailuo has yearly app cards and a separate MiniMax API. Google Flow has subscription credits and no Flow API. PixVerse, on this pass, has the opposite gap: an API price and no observed app price.
- Kling, Pika, and Higgsfield are other generation checkouts. Vidu prints a Q4 credit rate and an unresolved Ultimate price. None of those pages use 225 credits to the dollar.
- HeyGen, Hedra, and sync. are the talking-face and lipsync neighbors. CapCut is the timeline after the file exists.
FAQ
What does a PixVerse app subscription cost?
Not observed on 2026-10-17. Subscribe redirected to pai.video. This page quotes the API doc only.
How do API credits become dollars?
225 credits equal $1. Divide the credit total by 225 and round to three decimals. The doc's example is V6, 720p, audio on, 8 seconds: 96 credits, about $0.427. The ledger can still differ from Resp.credits.
How is lip sync priced relative to avatar?
Uploaded-audio lip sync is 4 credits a second, $0.018. Avatar is 5, 10, 15, or 20 credits per unit from 360p to 1080p. A unit is one second of uploaded audio or 15 UTF-8 bytes of TTS. The 20-second 720p avatar example is 300 credits, about $1.333.
Is there a PixVerse Hotel Lobby template link?
Hotel Lobby AI notes template posts on 2026-10-14 and 2026-10-15. A direct link was not found. API template prices use that template's credit_consume, divided by 225.
Does PixVerse have an official MCP server?
No server URL was observed, so mcp.official is false. has_api is true because the pricing doc exists, and that doc is api_url.
