What it is
Hotel Lobby AI is a face-swap template. It takes the June 2022 A COLORS SHOW performance of "Hotel Lobby" by Quavo and Takeoff and replaces the two people on camera with any two people, characters, or pets. The setup stays as it was taped: a plain orange studio, one hanging microphone, and two performers trading lines. You upload two photos. The motion and the soundtrack stay with the original clip. A new script is not part of the observed recipe.
The original performance, published by COLORS in June 2022, is Hotel Lobby on YouTube.
The trend is also called the Migos Hotel Lobby AI trend, and people tag it #HotelLobbyAI. It was first observed on 2026-09-16. Know Your Meme records a Suits edit posted that day by the TikTok account @glorify_studio as the earliest known AI version: Suits edit.
Other cuts that returned HTTP 200 on 2026-10-16:
- A cat version posted on X on 2026-09-18: cat edit.
- A Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce version posted on TikTok on 2026-09-25: Swift and Kelce edit.
- A FramiaPro post on X, dated 2026-10-09 in the source note, reported at 8.8 million impressions: FramiaPro post.
The format was still spreading in October 2026. The same note records PixVerse template posts on 2026-10-14 and 2026-10-15. Those posts are not linked here, because a stable direct URL for a PixVerse template was not observed. The link is the product page, not a template.
Know Your Meme's overview is Quavo Hotel Lobby AI trend.
This page started as a manual note from shanyue. That note was checked against Know Your Meme, meme.com, a Tab article dated 2026-09-25, and X search. meme.com and The Tab were part of the check. Their article URLs were not in the verified note, so this page does not add links for them.
Takeoff died in 2022. The permission section below is here on purpose. The COLORS performance is a record of two people working, and one of them is gone. This page explains the template. It is not a joke about that fact.
Where to make it
Prices and links below were checked on 2026-10-16. A row gets a URL only when that URL was in the verified note. "Not observed" means the check did not find a direct template link or a specific price. It is not a claim that a product cannot imitate the look.
Summrs
Summrs has a direct template page: Migos Hotel Lobby AI video.
Prices observed on that check:
- A new account receives 50 credits.
- The subscription is $15 per month for 300 credits.
- A top-up is $5 for 50 credits.
- Templates start at 10 credits.
The credit charge for this specific template was not observed. The 10-credit line is the floor Summrs states for templates. It is not a measured price for Hotel Lobby. Do not budget 10 credits for this preset until the product shows the charge at checkout.
Starrd
Starrd keeps the template inside the iOS app. The verified note is explicit: the in-app template has no web direct link. Two public URLs were observed. Neither one opens a browser preset you can run without the app.
- Install from the Starrd App Store listing.
- The walkthrough is How to make a Hotel Lobby COLORS AI video.
The observed Starrd job is 100 credits, about $5, using two photos, a 9:16 frame, and a 15-second export. A new account receives 20 credits. "About $5" is the note's own approximation for those 100 credits. This page does not turn that phrase into a per-credit dollar rate, because no finer rate was observed.
Checked, with no direct template link
People on X have said that PixVerse, Framia, and Glorify.dev offer a one-click Hotel Lobby template. A direct template link was not found on 2026-10-16. PixVerse is linked to its directory page, not to a template. Framia and Glorify.dev stay unlinked.
CapCut, Higgsfield, and Kling were checked for a dedicated Hotel Lobby template. None was found. That result is "not observed." It is not a review of everything else those products do. Their directory pages are under Related pages, for the product description and the prices already written there. They are not listed here as hosts of this preset.
Three steps
These steps use only Summrs and Starrd, the two products with observed pages for this effect. Each step is one required part: the tool, the photos, and the export.
Tool. Open the Summrs template at the URL above, or install Starrd from the App Store listing and follow the Starrd tutorial into the in-app template. Summrs is a web page with its own address. Starrd's template has no web URL. The tutorial is the public page that names the effect. The template itself sits inside the app.
Photos, not a written prompt. Upload two photos. The observed subjects are two people, two characters, or two pets. The template keeps the original performance's motion and its audio. A required prompt was not observed on either product. If a box for extra text is on screen, anything you type there was not part of the checked recipe. Upload photos you have a right to use. A celebrity still, a friend's face, or a stranger's portrait is still a likeness.
Export. On Starrd, the documented output is vertical 9:16 and 15 seconds. Summrs did not show an aspect ratio, a duration, or a frame rate for this template on 2026-10-16, so those Summrs export settings are not observed. Before you post, label the clip as AI. The soundtrack is the original recording, so the platform's music rules still apply to the upload.
Permission, labeling, and copyright
Takeoff died in 2022. Say that plainly and then stop. This directory does not treat his death as a caption, a punchline, or a reason the trend is interesting. Quavo and Takeoff recorded the COLORS performance together in June 2022. A face swap does not rewrite that recording, and it does not hand the recording to the person who uploaded two photos.
Three limits apply to every cut made from this template:
- Permission. A real person's face needs a right you actually have. The Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce post is listed because it is a public example of the trend. It is not a recommendation to publish either of them, or anyone else, without permission.
- An AI label. Viewers should be able to tell that the orange-studio performance was edited, and that the people, characters, or pets on screen were not in the 2022 taping. Use the platform's AI field when it has one, and put the same label in the caption when it does not.
- Copyright. The template does not clear the music. The face swap reuses the original audio. It does not license the song, the COLORS recording, or the performers' rights. Mutes, claims, and takedowns are a normal outcome. Nothing on this page is legal advice. No license terms were observed beyond the prices written above.

FAQ
What is the Hotel Lobby AI trend?
It is a template edit of Quavo and Takeoff's June 2022 COLORS performance of "Hotel Lobby." Two uploaded photos replace the two performers. The orange studio, the hanging microphone, the motion, and the audio stay with the original. The earliest AI version recorded on this page is the 2026-09-16 Suits edit from @glorify_studio. Know Your Meme treats that post as the earliest known AI cut.
Where can I make one, and what was the price on 2026-10-16?
Two products had direct pages. Summrs has a template URL. A new Summrs account receives 50 credits. The subscription is $15 per month for 300 credits. A top-up is $5 for 50 credits. Templates start at 10 credits, and the charge for this Summrs template was not observed. Starrd's template is inside the iOS app and has no web direct link. The App Store listing and the Starrd tutorial are linked above. Starrd's observed job is 100 credits, about $5, for two photos at 9:16 and 15 seconds. A new Starrd account receives 20 credits. Direct template links for PixVerse, Framia, Glorify.dev, CapCut, Higgsfield, and Kling were not observed that day. The PixVerse link is the product page, not a template.
Do I need to write a prompt?
The observed input is two photos. A required prompt was not observed on Summrs or on Starrd. Motion and audio come from the original performance, not from a new description you type of the orange studio.
What should I avoid when I post a cut?
Do not upload a real person's face unless you have permission to use it. Label the result as AI. Do not assume the template cleared the song. Takeoff died in 2022. Leave that fact out of the caption and off the image. It is not a joke, and it is not a hook.
